Adding and Managing Content
Studentcentral provides the means to communicate and disseminate information to students. Adding content to a module area allows learners to access learning materials whenever they need it.
Note: some of these links take you to the help pages within Blackboard.
Colleagues posting on studentcentral should take care when posting personal data:
- Ensure your groups are set up in such a way that access to any document is only available to those groups.
- Use student name only for course lists NOT user names or student numbers
- There is no need to put up lists of students for teaching event (lectures, seminars and lab group) allocation as this is done centrally or personal tutor groups, as students can look up their personal tutor via the personal tab.
Speak to your LTA about group tools.
Please note: students do have access to email addresses of their course colleagues and the teaching staff
