Software and applications available off campus


​Below is list of systems and applications that are accessible off campus. 
They are available in different ways depending on the service, either:


  • Via the web- e.g. My Files, student central, Aspire
  • Via download onto personal computers. View software available for home use for staff and students
  • Via purchase from computer store​

Secure Remote Access

Some university applications are only accessible from off campus via the Secure Remote Access (SAR) service. Should you require access to these applications from off campus please read the Guide to the Secure Remote Access service and then contact the Service Desk to apply for an authentication PIN.

Please note that if you are trying to access university systems from off campus you will need to make sure that you are logging into the university domain, you can check this by ensuring that you type your login like this
