If you intend to access your university email and other secure systems from your device, you MUST:
Set a pass code/password /PIN on your smartphone or mobile device
- If you don't other people will be able to access university data or pretend to be you!
- Remember that you are held responsible for anything that happens through your university account.

Keep your operating system up-to-date
- Most manufacturers provide regular software updates that include security patches to fix new threats and issues.
- If you don't, you risk allowing other people access to your data.
