Office 365 for students

online file storage

 What is OneDrive?

OneDrive is a file hosting service supplied by Microsoft which allows you to store, sync and share your files online.

OneDrive is included as part of the Office 365 account which all students are supplied with and which also includes email, calendar and Microsoft Office software.

All University of Brighton students have a Terabyte (1TB=1000GB) of OneDrive storage space within their Office 365 account.

Think of your OneDrive as a hard drive that you can access from anywhere in the world from any of your computers or mobile devices.

 Why use OneDrive?

All uploaded files are synced across all your devices and can be accessed from any of your personal computers as well as university computers.

You can share files with other students. This can enable you to collaborate on documents together.

Onedrive will back up any synced files online ensuring they are safe in case anything happens to your devices.
