I have used another Lynda LinkedIn Learning or Lynda.com account before, so:

Note that the first time you sign in to your university account you have the option of transferring your learning history.

What UoB students say about LinkedIn Learning

Such a good tool. Would have been completely stuck without it

Good. Much better than searching on YouTube especially the ability to slow down and speed up videos.

This website was a life saver. I have saved so much time and time is the most valuable thing to us.

LinkedIn Learning Paths can help you with career planning, whether you want to boost an existing career or start working towards a new one. Learning paths help with questions like: Where do I start?, What do I need to know? Which courses should I follow?

The list of Learning Paths is growing and includes the titles  'Become a Web Developer', 'Become a Project Manager', 'Become a Digital Illustrator', 'Become a Recording Engineer'. To find a Learning Path in an area you want to develop:

  1. Go to www.brighton.ac.uk/LinkedIInLearning ,

  2. search for the skill you are looking for, e.g 'social media'

  3. Use the left hand filter menus to select learning paths.

To see the full list of Learning Paths:

  1. search for 'Become a' and then

  2. Use the left hand filter menus to select learning paths.

Do you have a LinkedIn Profile?
You can keep track of the learning courses you have followed and share records of your achievements on the LinkedIn website. It's a bit fiddly, so see instructions here to Add a learning certificate to your LinkedIn profile.
